McLaren's Developing Force Fields

Did you think force fields were just fantasy? Think again McLaren is doing it. Lately McLaren is hinting on ideas about how they will put force fields that surround the wind shield. Chief designer at McLaren Frank Stephenson has been hinting on this idea for awhile now. Stephenson even knows how to make these force fields, they will be made from 30 kHz waves!  The force fields will be produced at the McLaren headquarters by scientists that work for McLaren. The need for this invention is evident. Many are sick of having to wash dead bugs and bird poop off their windshields or getting stuck in a rain or snow storm and have their wipers break or freeze up. This invention can be able to deflect everything that it touches making things like bugs never noticeable and storms look like just a shower or a flurry look like nothing!

Even though the force fields are a step in the right direction is there still some downsides? I think Frank Stephenson was influenced to make this invention for a couple reasons. The first being that McLaren's are a fancy cool car and windshield wipers can look ugly and it's an invention that could change the car world and open up a door to a world of ideas. Not to mention the fact how much safer it is than windshields. Surprisingly we've had windshield wipers since 1903 and some believe it's time to move on. I for one believe force fields for windshields is a great invention for the world. Not only are they a safer option but a much cooler one as well. Also the force fields may decrease the rate of car accidents in storms and accidents. Although I do believe that it won't be very affordable for a long time to come. In the future if the force fields are invented then it will have positive and negative affects. Obviously one the positives being how safe the force fields will make cars and how cool they are. This innovation overall will be have a positive affect on the world where the weather conditions are the most harsh. However, it would be a waste of money if the weather is mostly nice in some regions of the world. because it allows safer traveling for anyone who owns a McLaren. Although the only negative is how pricey the force fields will be and how it could make people turn away due to the price. All in all in my opinion the force fields will be a very advanced innovation in the car world.

  1. As you said these force fields won't be around until the future but they are working on developing them. Do you think one day in the future these force fields will be a world wide thing or do you think it will just be something that stays within the US? I agree though that one of the downsides of these force fields are that they will be extremely expensive.

    1. Yes, I do believe that these force fields will be world wide due to how amazing the invention is although only the wealthy will be able to buy it. So to answer your question only wealthy areas of the world can afford this and experience it.

  2. You said that the only negative to this innovation is that it is not affordable. Do you think that if force fields were built with a cheaper material than it would be more available in price to others even though it is a major change in how safe cars will be?

    1. I do believe if they made the force fields out of cheaper material then it would be less pricey although it would lose it's purpose because the field wouldn't be as strong.

  3. Don't forget your MLA citation, other than that, try to go more in depth and find other reasons as to why force fields are an important invention that the world needs.

  4. You explain what how the force field works, like when you said it gets rid of the bird poop, rain and things like that but what is McLaren doing to develop this shield? What steps did they take?

    1. No article would give me that kind of kinfo because it's secret to McLaren right now but all they said was that it could be produced by 30 khz waves.
